Tuesday 9 June 2026 3AD visit to Bridlington Animal Park 3AD really enjoyed our trip to Bridlington Animal Park where we got to see and learn lots about a wide variety of animals. We learnt all about the lemurs, fennec foxes, Arctic foxes and racoon dogs from the workers at the park. The children also really enjoyed getting the kookaburra to laugh, but their highlight was petting the skunks and handling the guinea pigs!

Tuesday 9 June 2026 B'Hive visit to Let's Play B' hive had a wonderful time at Let's Play this morning. We were vets, teachers, dinosaur explorers, hairdressers, musicians and pirates. We all had a wonderful time exploring the different areas and using our play skills to engage in lots of role play fun. Well done B' hive.

Monday 8 June 2026 4EB visit to York 4EB had a wonderful trip to York. A fantastic time was had by all and they did us and themselves proud with their amazing behaviour and attitude.

Thursday 21 May 2026 Year 2 Seaside Day Our Year 2 children enjoyed a range of seaside themed activities within school as part of their History topic: History of seaside holidays. It was lovely to see everyone dressed for the occasion.

Thursday 21 May 2026 6SH Electrical Circuits 6SH have been investigating electricity this term and we were given a challenge to make a bulb light up by completing an electrical circuit.

Wednesday 20 May 2026 2KH Planting In 2KH the children have enjoyed planting and repotting their bean seed this half term. We have completed a bean diary every week and have found it very exciting watching them grow. The children can't wait to take them home tomorrow to look after! 🪴 😁

Wednesday 20 May 2026 OPAL ambassadors A big well done (and thank you!) to our OPAL ambassadors who worked really hard to help tidy up our playgrounds yesterday. If you have anything you can donate for our children to play with (guttering, barrels, crates, toys, lego, dress up etc), please bring it in to the school office.

Monday 27 April 2026 RSE Habitats RSE has had a busy week learning about different habitats that a range of animals live. We have also got creative making flowers and number lines. We enjoyed our PE lesson doing races.

Monday 27 April 2026 FS2 Showcase In FS2 we invited our special grown-ups to be involved in one of our Unique Umbrella PSHE sessions. During the showcase we read a story about a little boy who struggles with worrying. The children and their grown ups then made worry dolls.
