Wednesday 11 February 2026 3GW Art 11/02/2026 3GW have been enjoying expressing their artistic talents when creating art in the style of David Hockney. The children created patterns and used bold and bright colours to create landscapes of the Yorkshire Wolds.

Wednesday 11 February 2026 Internet Safety visit at MKM Stadium Some of our year 6 children have attended an Internet safety day based around AI. We've learnt so much and even got to see the pitch and meet Rory, the Hull City Tigers mascot.

Tuesday 10 February 2026 Seahawkes Shirt Competition Marta was the lucky winner of the Hull Seahawk shirt competition. She has won a family ticket to watch one of the Hull Seahawk games. Well done Marta.

Friday 6 February 2026 3AD Art 3AD have enjoyed using oil pastels and water colours this week. They were looking at how the oil pastels repel the water colours whilst also taking inspiration from the style of David Hockney!

Wednesday 4 February 2026 2KH History In 2KH, we have been enjoying our history unit learning all about flight and how mankind learnt to fly. We have looked at different methods of wind flight and powered flight. Next, we are going to be learning about Hull's very own - Amy Johnson! ✈️

Thursday 29 January 2026 Year 3 Pedestrian Skills Year 3 were amazing at showing their road safety skills. Each child was supersensible and crossed the road at an open crossing, parked car crossing and a cross roads. Well done Year 3, you did yourselves proud 🙂

Friday 23 January 2026 2KH Adventures This week in Mrs Hare's class we have been very busy. Look how helpful we are in the garden, we have been tidying up our playground. During continuous provision we have made some castles in the sky using shaving foam. We also played some team games in PE. Then we were really lucky and some of our grown ups joined us for a reading morning.

Friday 23 January 2026 Year 6 Science In Year 6 we have been learning about the heart and blood. We listened to our own hearts with a stethoscope and then made a 'blood smoothie' to help us remember the components of blood.

Friday 19 December 2025 Year 2 Christmas Performance We are bursting with pride for our wonderful Year 2 children, who shone brightly in their performance of Golden Star and Bethlehem Beats Nativity. Their voices filled the hall with beautiful singing, their dance moves brought energy and joy to the stage, and every line was spoken with confidence. It was a truly magical celebration of talent, teamwork, and festive spirit — a performance that will be remembered with smiles and applause!

Friday 19 December 2025 Year 1 Christingle Service Year 1 had a visit from Reverend Andrew from St John's Church to discuss Christmas and deliver a Christingle service. The children enjoyed learning about and making their own Christingle.

Friday 21 November 2025 Enterprise Visit A group of year 6 children represented the school at an Enterprise event today at the Guild Hall. They worked excellently together collaborating their ideas and came 1st place winning an amazing £250 for our school!! They impressed us with their exceptional behaviour and we are very proud!
