Monday 30 September 2024 B'Hive - The Tiger Who Came To Tea In the B' Hive our new story is The Tiger Who Came to Tea. We have been doing lots of activities about the story, we have had a tea party, and are looking forward to making buns this week following a recipe.

Friday 27 September 2024 Nursery- Police Visit The Nursery children really enjoyed meeting PCSO Claire and police officer Jason. They spoke to us about Stranger danger and staying safe at Hull Fair. PC Jason also read a fantastic story to us called Little Red Riding Hood.

Tuesday 24 September 2024 5MC Science- Friction 5MC have been showing their skills as scientists when investigating friction. We used Newton meters to measure the amount of friction in different types of shoes. The more grip on a shoe, the more friction it caused!

Thursday 19 September 2024 1LG Oral Health Nurse Visit 1LG had a visit from the oral health nurse Vikki. She spoke to the class about how important it is to look after your teeth and which food and drinks are healthy and unhealthy. Some of the children enjoyed dressing up as a dentist and brushing Daisy the Dinosaurs teeth.

Wednesday 22 May 2024 FS1 Parents Fussy Eaters Course Thank you to all the FS1 parents that attended the Fussy Eater course delivered by Lemon Tree Hub. The parents found the course very useful giving them lots healthy eating tips.

Wednesday 22 May 2024 Mrs Harrison's Science Class For our science topic on plants, Mrs Harrison's children have really enjoyed planting their own bean seed. It has been very exciting to watch them grow and record the progress each week in their bean diaries. We have looked closely at the parts and functions of a plant, classified seeds and bulbs and explored the life cycle of a bean.

Wednesday 22 May 2024 Year 2 Forest School At Forest Schools this week the children created their own hedgehog using leaves in celebration of national hedgehog awareness week.

Tuesday 21 May 2024 Science Week Poster Competition Winners Well done to all of the children that won the Science week poster competition!The science ambassadors have copied and placed the winning posters across the school to promote our Biggin Science week , commencing June 17th. Our theme this year is 'Protect Our Planet'. Look out for them around the school!
